*Most of our recycling services are free to Linn County residents, but not all (recycled items accepted for a fee include: TVs/monitors, appliances, tires, PCB ballasts). We use fees collected from landfilling to subsidize these programs.  When we do charge a fee, it is to help cover the cost of providing our programs and services.

**Only residential yard waste loads are accepted at the County Home Road facility. Commercial/landscaper loads and all loads with large stumps and branches must be taken to 2250 A Street SW, Cedar Rapids.

You can search for specific fees in our Recycling Guide, download a copy of our Home & Business Recycling Companion (some pricing information is outdated in the Companion; scale house staff will charge current fees).
