Curbside recycling collection

It's easy to recycle! Many Linn County communities offer curbside pickup of recyclable materials. To see how your community handles recycling, or if you have a problem or question about your curbside pickup, please contact your city official or waste hauler. Here's a list of Linn County communities and their contact information.

Sorry, we don't pick up recyclables, but you can drop off paper, plastic, cardboard and glass at the Agency's two recycling drop-off locations

The Solid Waste Agency doesn't pick up recyclables. You can drop off the same items and more at our two drop-off locations. If you're wondering whether an item can be recycled, click HERE for a list of what can be recycled curbside in Linn County or check our Recycling Guide.

Some materials that cannot be recycled in your curbside container are accepted at the Solid Waste Agency drop-off facilities, including: glass bottles, jars and containers, fluorescent bulbs, and lithium and lead-acid batteries.

Materials taken to the Solid Waste Agency are processed for recycling and sent to other facilities that recover and reuse the materials they contain.

Protecting the environment is important to us. That's why we strive to divert as much waste as possible from our landfill and to recover as much reusable material as we can.
