The Solid Waste Agency will be CLOSED Thursday, December 22, Friday, December 23, and Saturday, December 24. This includes both Agency locations, the landfill and recycling location, 1954 County Home Road, Marion, and the compost/yard waste location, 2250 A Street SW, Cedar Rapids. The landfill and recycling location will be OPEN Monday, December 26, 2022, 7:00am - 4:00pm.

Central Furniture Rescue in Cedar Rapids is continuing to help the community, providing furniture and household items to those transitioning from homelessness to living in their own homes.
